Terms of service.
The agreement between Order It Hub and the business using it. Written to be read, not to be survived.
Last updated 11 September 2026.
Who this is with
These terms are between Order It Hub and the business that creates an account — the operator. Whoever accepts them confirms they may bind that business. Diners ordering from an operator's store are that operator's customers, not ours.
What we provide
Access to the Order It Hub platform: an online ordering storefront, a point of sale, a kitchen display, customer and loyalty records, reporting, and the optional payment, delivery and email features described on this site. We may add, change or remove features; we will not remove something you rely on without notice on your account.
Plans and payment
- The free plan is free permanently and requires no card.
- Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Choosing a paid plan for the first time starts a 14-day trial; you are not charged until it ends.
- Cancel whenever you like. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and then drops to the free plan rather than locking you out of your data.
- Plan limits are enforced when you try to exceed them, not by deleting what you already have.
Our commission on orders
When a diner pays by card online, we take 3% of the food total after discounts as a platform fee. We never take a share of a delivery fee or of a tip. Cash orders and card sales rung up at your own counter carry no commission at all.
Refund an order and the proportional part of our commission is returned with it. Your payment processor charges its own fees separately, under its own agreement with you.
Payments go to you
Card payments are made on your own connected Stripe account. We do not hold, route or delay your takings, and payouts are on Stripe's schedule, not ours. You are responsible for your Stripe account, its verification, its disputes and the tax you owe on what you sell.
Your content and your data
Your menu, your branding, your orders and your customer records stay yours. We use them to run the service for you and for nothing else. You can export orders, customers and products to CSV at any time, on any plan.
You are responsible for having the right to use what you upload, and for the accuracy of what you publish — prices, allergen information and anything else a diner relies on.
Marketing email
If you use the email features, you are the sender. Only write to people who agreed to hear from you, keep to the marketing law that applies where you and they are, and never disable or work around the unsubscribe link. We suppress opt-outs and hard bounces automatically, and we may stop a send that is generating complaints.
Text messages
Order texts go only to a diner who ticked the SMS box at your checkout. You may not import numbers from anywhere else into it, and you may not use order texts to advertise. STOP and HELP are handled for you and cannot be disabled. Neither we nor you may share a diner's mobile number or their SMS consent with a third party or an affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.
Acceptable use
Do not use the platform to break the law, to sell what you are not allowed to sell, to attack or overload the service, to reach another operator's data, or to impersonate somebody. We may suspend an account doing any of these, and we will tell you why.
Availability
We work to keep the service up and we do not promise a specific uptime figure. Maintenance, failures and third-party outages happen. The POS, the kitchen board and the storefront all need an internet connection; none of them work offline.
Ending it
You can close your store whenever you want. Deletion is reversible for a grace period and then permanent — take your export first. We may end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or for non-payment after we have asked.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost sales or indirect loss, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced on your account before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always says when it last changed.
